Who is Genesis?

We are a sales rep group, headquartered in Greenville, SC, and we represent inspirational gift manufacturers and publishers to the retail market. We have been a trusted partner since 1970 and seek to provide the highest professionalism and integrity to the retailers and vendors we serve. 

What we do.

Many of our vendors are leaders in the industry including DaySpring, Kerusso, Carson Home Accents, Creative Brands, Howard’s Jewelry, Harvest House Publishers, Simon & Schuster, and more.

Our goal is to supply the highest quality sales support to both the vendors we represent and to the wholesale customers to whom we provide products. We are driven by a passion for excellence and seek to accomplish our goals with the utmost integrity and diligence.

Our services include vendor sales conferences, program development, product marketing, order processing, trade show support, catalog marketing group engagement, and retailer feedback for our vendors.

Our sales team understands that building and maintaining strong relationships with their buyers is key to our success. As a multi-line rep group, our sales representatives are valuable assets to the buyers they work with and offer the experience, know-how, and coverage to maximize success.

Where we've come from.

Genesis Marketing Group was founded by Dana Sullivan in 1970 and quickly became a leading rep group in the inspirational products retail market. In 2006 the company was purchased by Becky Spragins, who is the Chairman of our Board of Directors. Tim Morgan became CEO of GMG Holdings, Inc. in 2008, and in 2024 Dave Stockard became President.
