This role is designed for high-energy professionals who are passionate about sales, whether that means opening new doors or expanding relationships with existing customers. Depending on business needs and individual strengths, Sales Representatives may focus on new business development, account growth and retention, or a blend of both.

Depending on business needs and individual strengths, Sales Representatives may focus on new business development, account growth and retention, or a blend of both.

Key Responsibilities
· Drive sales growth through new account development, existing account expansion, or both, depending on assignment.
· Prospect, cold call, and re-engage dormant accounts to generate fresh opportunities.
· Manage and nurture assigned customer accounts, uncovering new needs and maximizing sales potential.
· Conduct professional, persuasive sales presentations (in-person and virtual) tailored to client needs.
· Develop and maintain a consistent outbound calling and follow-up schedule.
· Build strong customer relationships to ensure satisfaction, loyalty, and long-term engagement.
· Track all sales activities, pipeline progress, and results in CRM.
· Consistently meet or exceed sales activity and revenue goals.
· Represent Genesis at assigned industry conventions and tradeshows several times per year.
· Attend the annual Genesis Sales Conference in December.
· Participate in team meetings and contribute market feedback to support business growth.
· Maintain a professional work attitude and appearance at all times.
· Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
· Proven success in sales — whether in new business acquisition, account management, or both.
· Strong prospecting, relationship-building, and closing skills.
· Excellent communication, presentation, and follow-up abilities.
· Self-motivated, competitive, and goal-oriented, with a strong work ethic.
· Customer-focused mindset with the ability to build rapport and establish trust quickly.
· Comfortable with technology (CRM, Teams/Zoom, Microsoft Office, digital catalogs).
· Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
