This bookkeeper position supports our internal companies through routine accounting functions and assists the Controller with multi-entity accounting, reconciliations, and reporting.
Job Summary
The Bookkeeper is responsible for completing daily bookkeeping functions, performing reconciliations, processing transactions, and maintaining accurate financial records across our internal companies. This role supports the Controller in producing timely financial statements, monitoring compliance, and ensuring smooth accounting operations throughout the family of companies.

- Daily & Weekly Bookkeeping Activities
- Process accounts payable (entering bills, preparing payment batches).
- Process accounts receivable (invoicing customers, applying payments).
- Perform weekly bank and credit card transaction entry.
- Maintain organized recordkeeping of vendor invoices, receipts, and supporting documents.
- Process accounts payable (entering bills, preparing payment batches).
- Monthly Accounting Tasks
- Assist the Controller with monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Prepare preliminary month-end reports for Controller review.
- Enter recurring journal entries as assigned.
- Maintain multi-entity general ledger accuracy by posting corrected or reclassified entries.
- Assist with sales tax filings, payroll-related entries, and other compliance tasks as directed.
- Assist the Controller with monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Support for Controller & Internal Companies
- Prepare reports, schedules, and supporting documents for internal financial statements.
- Maintain vendor and customer records across multiple related companies.
- Assist with intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
- Provide administrative assistance with payroll processing
- Support budgeting and forecasting tasks by preparing data and templates.
- Prepare reports, schedules, and supporting documents for internal financial statements.
- HR & Administrative Support (As Assigned)
- Maintain employee files and HR documentation.
- Assist with benefit enrollment paperwork and changes.
- Help gather payroll data (new hires, deductions, PTO, etc.).

- Maintain proper documentation and audit trails for all transactions.
- Follow established internal control procedures across all internal companies.
- Assist with maintaining accounting policies and procedures.

Qualifications
- 2+ years bookkeeping experience preferred
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop
- Strong Excel and general computer skills
- High attention to detail
- Experience with multi-entity accounting preferred
- Knowledge of inventory management
